All televisions in your Carthago motorhome are manufactured by alphatronics in Nuremberg. The company was founded around 25 years ago by Frank Stauber in Büchenbach near Nuremberg, specialising in the manufacture of mobile televisions. Even at that time, the company was a pioneer in terms of innovation and technology. The 12-volt electronics for televisions developed at the time were decisive for installation in a motorhome.
In 2007, the company was taken over by the two managing directors Jens Kaltenbach and Markus Schröder, who are still active today. The following year, the company was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, which sets out the requirements for a quality management system in order to fulfil customer requirements and product quality.
alphatronics launched the first mobile TV sets with SMART TV back in 2015 and is still the only provider to offer a mobile TV set with SMART TV. In the following years, the company focused on the further development of its products and the introduction of more and more new products that meet the latest technical requirements. Together with Xtronic, the company was also working on a joint solution for the motorhome of the future, which was to set the standard in terms of connectivity and multimedia in the motorhome sector.

In 2018, the next innovation followed - the introduction of Bluetooth 4.2 in the SL-Line+ and T-Line+ product lines. From now on, it was possible to send and receive music via the TV set.
alphatronics received the "Brand of the Century" award in 2022.
