Delivery times for new vehicles

Our daily goal: to do everything possible to make your dream of a Carthago motorhome come true!

For two years now, our industry has been in a special and very challenging situation. Volatile general conditions, some of which cannot be planned in any way, put a great strain on our daily activities and our usual processes. They demand a flexibility that can only be provided to a limited extent. The consequences are delivery delays and even delivery cancellations as well as price changes that are clearly noticeable for all of us.

In this very complex development, we rely on open and transparent communication with our customers and would like to use our FAQ to answer as many of your questions as possible.

Frequently asked questions

What are the reasons for the delivery delays of Carthago motorhomes?

The limited performance of the supply chains, especially in the area of our basic vehicle suppliers, presents all manufacturers with unprecedented challenges. In addition, there are shortages and rising prices of urgently needed raw materials, which further intensify this situation.

Does Carthago have any influence on this and why do I not get a binding delivery date?

Unfortunately, we have no influence on this situation due to the limited supply situation. We often receive information from our suppliers only a few days in advance. Every day we try to align our production capacities with the flow of goods in a very flexible way in order to get the best possible results.

Who can I contact if I have questions about my delivery time?

If you have already ordered a new Carthago motorhome, your responsible dealer is always available for information on the delivery status, as this is your contractual partner.

If I order now, what delivery time should I expect?

Delivery times depend on a variety of factors. They can vary depending on the model, base vehicle and additional equipment. A Carthago dealer near you will be happy to advise you in order to keep the delivery times for your desired vehicle as short as possible.

When can an end to this situation be expected?

Unfortunately, an end or an improvement of these challenging general conditions is not foreseeable at the moment.
