    Our commitment to clean energy

    At our head office, we rely on 100% green electricity with a guarantee of origin and thus actively support the expansion of renewable energies. At our production sites in Slovenia, we use low-CO2 alternatives to further reduce our ecological footprint.
     
     In addition, we generate our own electricity through large-scale photovoltaic systems on our roofs, which were installed with ENPLA GmbH as our partner. Highly efficient combined heat and power plants that are hydrogen-ready round off the portfolio. We utilise the resulting waste heat efficiently for heating. 

     

    Our KLIMAfit commitment

    We are proud to officially call ourselves "KLIMAfit". After successfully participating in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment's programme of the same name, we drew up our first greenhouse gas balance sheet over a period of eight months with the help of external support. These balances enable us to quantify our environmental impact and take targeted measures to reduce our CO2 emissions.
     
     Important consumption data, such as water, is also continuously recorded and analysed in order to initiate optimisation measures. In both countries where we operate production plants, we have dedicated climate teams who are committed to these issues and are always ready to listen to our employees' ideas. 

     

    Sustainability through durability and ease of repair

    Our premium vehicles are characterised by their high quality, which enables them to be used over a very long period of time and thus conserves raw materials. While many products today are difficult to repair, we focus on an ease of repair design. This makes our vehicles easy to maintain, which saves resources and reduces the environmental impact by reducing waste. 

    Our commitment to the circular economy, waste avoidance and recycling

    The best waste is waste that is not produced in the first place. We therefore rely on reusable transport racks and reusable load carriers to reduce packaging waste. Unavoidable waste is consistently separated, recycled or disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. 

    Our contribution to reducing emissions in the transport sector

    We offer our employees generous charging facilities for electric vehicles and e-bikes on our company premises. In this way, we promote the use of environmentally friendly means of transport and make an active contribution to reducing emissions in the transport sector.

      Our commitment to the health of our employees

      The health of our employees is our top priority. Fresh meals are prepared daily in our subsidised company restaurant. With the EGYM Wellpass, we offer access to a wide range of fitness and health programmes. Our BGM team organises health days and additional sports activities such as participation in company runs.
       
       Ergonomics are also important to us: Almost all office workstations are equipped with height-adjustable desks. 

      Wide range of training and study opportunities for school leavers

      We offer school leavers a wide range of apprenticeships as well as the option of a dual study programme. By combining theoretical knowledge at universities or vocational schools with practical experience in the company, our trainees and dual students can acquire valuable skills and continue their academic education at the same time. We also have a training centre for industrial apprenticeships.
