For many years now, Carthago has been setting the benchmark in the motorhome industry. This has been confirmed not only by independent juries and the prestigious awards that our motorhomes have won in the past, but more importantly, by our customers – the best experts when it comes to their own travel experiences.

Motorhome of the Year.

Carthago motorhomes are synonymous with unparalleled comfort, sophisticated design and clever innovations. It is not only expert juries, but experienced campers too, who are impressed by this exclusive travel experience. This is demonstrated time and again in the annual poll of readers of promobil magazine to select the Motorhome of the Year, in which our Carthago motorhomes have emerged as true serial winners, taking the top spots in various categories between 2019 and 2025. These awards not only confirm our promise of quality, but also express the great appreciation of our customers. Practical Motorhome Awards.

Our Carthago C2-tourer I 147 RB-LE “K” lightweight 3.5 t was honoured with the “Best A-class Motorhome 2025” award by the renowned magazine Practical Motorhome. We were already delighted to receive an award from “Practical Motorhome” in 2022 and 2020. A confirmation of our claim to premium quality and comfortable travelling at the highest level.

European Innovation Award.

Our Carthago motorhomes have been fortunate enough to win the European Innovation Award on numerous occasions. In 2024, they were chosen as the winners in the “Layouts” category. But that wasn’t the only category in which Carthago impressed the jury of the European Innovation Awards. In previous years, our Carthago motorhomes have also been awarded the top spot in the “Target Group Focus” and “Safety” categories. The European Innovation Award is presented at the CMT trade fair in Stuttgart and is regarded as a hallmark of quality for innovative developments in the motorhome and caravanning industry.

Goldenes Reisemobil.

In the annual readers’ poll conducted by the renowned magazine AUTO BILD REISEMOBIL, the readers vote for the most popular innovations of the year in various categories. In 2020, 2022 and 2023, our Carthago motorhomes impressed the readers and were chosen as the winner.

CamperOnline.

CamperOnline is the leading Italian website that specialises in leisure vehicles, where the community votes annually for the coveted “Camper dell’Anno” (Motorhome of the Year) awards. We have also been fortunate enough to receive this special award on two occasions so far with our Carthago motorhomes. In 2021, not just one, but two of our motorhomes emerged victorious: the Carthago chic c-line I won in the “Motorhomes from €95,000 to €140,000” category, while the Carthago C-Tourer T received the award in the “Coachbuilt motorhomes over €75,000” category. In 2026, the Carthago e-line continues this success story and secures 1st place in the “Motorhome Top” category.

König Kunde.

At Carthago, quality is more than just an empty promise – it is evident in every small detail of our motorhomes. This is also confirmed by the results of the König Kunde readers’ poll conducted by the specialist magazine Reisemobil International, in which our motorhomes have received numerous awards. We are especially proud that our Carthago motorhomes came out on top in the “Price / Performance” category two years in a row. But that’s not all. Carthago also won awards in other categories, including “Quality” and “Service”. In addition, as part of the König Kunde readers’ poll, the jury awarded special prizes in the categories “Particularly Innovative” and “Exclusive Vehicles”, as well as for high safety standards. Since only people who actually own a vehicle can participate in this poll, these awards are of particular importance to us and provide us with invaluable feedback.
