c-compactline I - suitable for remote area’s use with a width of 2.12 m

With its compact vehicle length of less than 7 metres and its narrow exterior width of 2.12 m, the c-compactline is a popular travel companion, especially for city trips, pass routes or narrow country roads. The 3.5 t class series may be driven with a class B driving licence. This results in some advantages that are equal to a passenger car, especially with regard to tolls, fuel consumption and speed limits. Today we present the series, more precisely the model c-compactline I 143 LE.

Base vehicle

The c-compactline is available as standard on the Fiat Ducato with AL-KO low-frame 35 light, a permissible total mass of 3,500 kg and with 140 hp (104 kW). If this is not enough for you, you can optionally choose the Fiat Ducato f40 heavy chassis with a permissible total weight of 4,250 kg. The option of increasing the engine output to 180 hp (132 kW) is also available for this series.

Your safety is ensured by the standard Fiat Ducato safety package. The following components are included in this package:

The timeless "epic" world of style scores with the bright overhead storage units in high-gloss ivory. The furniture decor in brilliant ash lends the rooms warmth and cosiness. The living area impresses with a large L-shaped seating group and a living room table with chrome piping, which can be rotated 360° and moved in two directions thanks to a foot pedal. The exclusive lighting concept with LED lighting technology provides a pleasant flair. A practical feature is that the main light with numerous light spots can be controlled separately from the indirect ambient light.

Above the L-shaped lounge seating area you can enjoy a drop-down bed, with its 1.80 x 1.60 metre mattress it offers space for two people. For those who are only travelling as a couple, there is the option of omitting the drop-down bed. With this option, instead you gain all-round overhead storage cabinets in the cab for even more storage space, more headroom and thus an enormous feeling of space.

TV evenings are possible with the optional TV pull-out system in the overhead storage cabinet with 24'' LED flat screen or with the elegantly integrated design TV cupboard with 32'' LED flat screen. The space-saving galley kitchen is perfectly designed for the compact vehicle length of the layout. Nevertheless, it convinces with six large drawers and an integrated waste bin. In addition, you will find two large overhead storage compartments - one of them in vertical wave form for the optional coffee capsule machine.

A stainless steel round sink is recessed into the scratch-resistant worktop. On its left, you can find the “Profi Gourmet” 3-ring hob with stainless steel bottom. To the right of the kitchen in this layout is a 133-litre Slimtower refrigerator with door opening on both sides and a separate freezer compartment that can hold a lot of food.

If you like to bake, you can opt for a gas oven with grill function in the I 143 LE model. There is space for this in the kitchen base unit.

One thing first: with the combined washroom of model I 143 LE, you have the option of converting the washroom into a changing room. How does this work? With the washroom door, you can partition off the entire living area to the washroom. The door is opened and the lock is engaged in a holder provided for this purpose (end edge kitchen). This provides privacy from the front of the motorhome, gives you plenty of room to move around in your washroom/changing room and allows you to shower and change undisturbed.

The round shower can be separated from the toilet by a sliding door. The height of the hand shower can be flexibly adjusted according to body height. There is space for a towel rail in the Mini-Heki above the round shower. In addition to the integrated shower shelf, you have enough space just like at home in the bathroom thanks to the large mirror and vanity unit.

You can expect restful sleep in the c-compactline I 143 LE. The large lengthways single beds have a length of up to 200 cm. With an additional mattress, the sleeping area can also be extended by placing it between the two lengthways single beds on a construction provided for this purpose. The 7-zone quality cold foam mattress adapts ergonomically to the body and supports healthy posture. So if you tend to suffer from back pain, these mattresses are perfect for you. With the access steps in front of the beds, you can climb onto the mattresses quite comfortably. To the left and right under the mattresses are wardrobes, which are lowered to the raised floor basement and which you can reach from the top and front. You will find even more storage space above the beds. You can store your utensils here in a total of six overhead storage cabinets and two elegant shelves.

With an interior height of 120 cm, the scooter garage is a real miracle of space. It can take loads of up to 350 kg and can be loaded from both sides. The anti-slip coating in the garage and the lashing system via aluminium support bars with eight lashing eyes prevent unnecessary movement of the luggage.

By the way: despite the narrow body width of 2.12 m, the series promises maximum comfort without compromise. Among other things, the c-compactline offers a double floor with huge storage space for your holiday luggage. Even bulky equipment can be easily stored in the double floor. Your holiday luggage can therefore be conveniently loaded from the outside and easily removed from the inside via the seat cover of the L-shaped lounge seating area, via the lift-up side seat bench and via the large living area floor flap. In addition, the entire double floor is heated and you benefit from the underfloor heating effect.
